Interviewing Haven’s bromantic duo – Lucas Bryant and Adam Copeland
Lucas Bryant and Adam Copeland of “Haven” are two pretty men. In fact, they’re so pretty, they’re bromance-worthy. When Eric Balfour stopped by for a Balfour-Bryant kiss, it made the interview even MORE bromantic.
An: Why did Nathan join the Guard? I didn’t feel Audrey needed the protection.
Lucas [skeptical eyebrow raise]: Audrey didn’t need protection?
An: Yes. She was kidnapped, but she’s such a strong character.
Lucas: Yes. She is. Absolutely. To answer that question with my small brain, Nathan would regardless of whether she needs it or not he would feel like giving into it. Especially when it comes to that nefarious creature over there, Mr. Balfour, it just goes super deep for Nathan. He does not, as much as he loves the guy, on the one hand…
Eric [hearing his name]: What are you doing?
Lucas: I was talking about nefariousness and your relationship to it. I’m saying as much as I love …
Eric: Love me? [Throws a quick Balfour-Bryant kiss. Exit stage right.]
Journalist: It’s getting misty now.
Journalist: There were some rumors in San Diego.
Lucas: And those rumors will just be much worse after New York.
Adam: It’s difficult as my character has that with everyone else. I think from Dwight’s perspective there has to be that one person that he knows okay, I got him watching my back. I like that aspect.
Lucas: If Dwight was introduced in season one, I think that would’ve been something definitely something that would’ve come up a lot more. With the chief’s death.
Adam: Demise.
Lucas: Explosion. And the reveal about Nathan’s birth father, I think that put to rest a lot of Nathan’s resentment and anger. I’m sure there’s still a lot of questions. And that was right when Dwight came along. I saw it as a beautiful acceptance of each other. There was suspicion maybe, that did it. But I would like to have a brother’s talk about our dad.
