CliqueClack giveaway: Mad Men prize pack!
To celebrate the return of AMC’s ‘Mad Men’ for its final season, we’re holding a giveaway for one lucky, random commenter! No joke!
In celebration of Mad Men‘s April 7th return, CliqueClack’s giving away a mega prize pack, sponsored by Gold Label’s Mad Men online store, including:
- Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce mug
- Mad Men Pop Art iPhone case
- Mad Men journal
- Mad Men Lies Mousepad
- Mad Men logo t-shirt
In the comments, tell us why you’re excited for Mad Men‘s return. Entries to this giveaway must be made by Wednesday, April 3 11:59 PM ET. We’ll pick one comment completely at random and Gold Label will ship the prize pack, which should hopefully arrive in time for the premiere (make sure your spam filter allows @cliqueclack.com addressed email!) Only one entry per person and you must have a valid U.S.-based mailing address. You must be 18 or over to enter. Not following these guidelines voids your entry. Good luck!
For those who don’t win, check out Gold Label’s Mad Men online store, powered by Cafepress. It features around 300 products including mugs, iPhone cases, journals, mousepads, Mad Men business card cases, and t-shirts with ’60s-esque prints of the characters and their coolest sayings.
The reason I’m excited for Mad Men‘s return is partially because of my recent 1960s obsession. Ever since last year, I can’t stop attempting to recreate Holly Golightly’s wardrobe, buying cat-eyed glasses, carrying aqua Tiffany blue purses, and listening to 1960s inspired pop tunes like “Zou Bisou Bisou” and “Baubles, Bangles and Beads.” When Banana Republic jumped into the 1960s because of a Mad Men tie-in, I, of course, followed. Maybe I wasn’t a Mad Men fan previously, but this is it’s final season. I’m interested in seeing how they’ll see out a show that revisited the fashion that I love to wear.
I like some of the items on the on-line store that evoke the quirky 1960s feeling (and fit within my middle-class price range) including the $20 Mad Men Sterling Cooper flask, the $15 stainless steel Betty Draper compact, the $20 Sterling Cooper business card case for around $20, and the $13 pink lipstick-touched Peggy journal. Because of the ’60s kitch-esque cartoons, I liked the Pete mug (“If I’m going to die, I want to die in Manhattan”), the Don Draper shot glass (“Fear stimulates my imagination”) and the $12-15 Salvatore mug‘s (because it speaks to the alcoholic in all of us).
Mad Men returns for its final, sixth season on Sunday, April 7 with a two hour premiere. Don’t forget to dress in your favorite 1960s outfit and raise your favorite cocktail in toast. I know I will.
Looking forward to the Mad Men premiere–I just had so much to watch last year that I haven’t seen S5 yet (I have no idea how I managed to avoid spoilers–have no idea what happened last season!)!
I already picked up the S5 Blu-ray and plan to barrel through it this week so I can get caught up and watch the show as it airs this year!
I think we still get one more season after this one–thought they said season 7 will be the last.
I grew up in the ’60’s, so its so fun to see the styles and attitudes reflected in Mad Men. And of course, can’t wait to see how the Women’s movement keeps changing the workplace and what happens to Don!
excited because i love the era and also i just finished catching up on all the mad men eposides
I’m excited because it’s the only show that looks the way it does! I love the styles!
excited to see what happens to Peggy after leaving her safety net of Don
I’m excited for the new season of Mad Men because I work in the advertising industry and it’s a fascinating look at the golden age of my profession. My agency just did a Mad Men themed photo shoot last week for our staff head shots.
Reminders of my childhood in the 60’s, college in the 70’s, working in advertising in the 80’s. Pretty true to stereotypes of each decade, male and female, domestic and workforce. So much fun to watch!
I’m excited because it’s just a great show! You’ve got to love rooting for and against Don.
I’m excited because it’s still one of the best shows on TV.
The fashion – both men and women. So classic. And anything evil is always appealing.
great show, love the fashion and drama
Looking forward to the rise of feminism, as depicted in the video!
I am looking forward to the new season of Mad Men because it is one of the most entertaining, original, and best shows on television!
Thank you Clique Clack!
My father (who was a teenager in the 60’s) has gotten on the Mad Men band wagon and it will be great to talk with him about the new seson as it airs.
I don’t watch much TV, but my 22 year old daughter suggested I might like this show. I watched an episode and was hooked!! I love Mad Men! I was born in 1956 and was grew up in the 60’s. I remember the styles and moral values of that decade. Aside from the story line, the characters, the styles, etc., I really enjoyed the JFK section as I remember the day he died so clearly and the reactions of my parents and of all the adults around me at that time. I loved the piece where Don had tickets to take his daughter to see the Beatles! I saw the Ed Sullivan Show with the Beatles!! I will never forget it.
I love this show and am looking forward to April 7 with great anticipation!
Wow last season, wish it coud go on longer. What’s wrong with the 70s theme?
looking foward to the great style of the characters, love their clothes
Howdy! I just want to give an enormous thumbs up for the great data
