When last we left the heroes, Nathan, Matt and Hiro had confronted Peter and Adam at the Company’s facility in Odessa, Texas, where Adam’s intentions were revealed. Micah confides in his mom, and they set off to rescue Monica. It ended badly. Maya and Sylar visited Dr. Suresh, and she finally realized what Sylar was really up to. Noah Bennet visited his family and begged Claire not to publicly reveal her secret. |

Jane Boursaw: Here’s the thing. I watched the one-hour premiere that aired right before this show. They were talking it up on how this would be a fresh start for the series, and how viewers wouldn’t need to have watched the series and know the characters. I’m tellin’ ya, anyone who hasn’t watched the series and doesn’t know the characters is lost about now. |

Jane Boursaw: This show certainly keeps us on our toes. We can’t just sit by and idly watch, or we might miss some major plot points. It’s definitely more intense, though I’m not sure about focused. Seems like the storyline was all over the place, but I guess that’s a characteristic of the show, overall. I need to watch it again – good thing it’s DVR’d. |
