No surprises here, the first cancelled show is from FOX!

FOX

A mere day after FOX’s Do Not Disturb creators say they are sorry for offering a sucky product, the network announces that it’s axing the show and will put repeats of ‘Til Death in the now-vacant timeslot.

FOX could have saved a lot of money if they had taken the time to call me a few months ago after I watched the pilot episode (which aired as the second episode). Here are 10 words to sum up how I felt after watching the episode: 30 minutes of my life I will never get back.

Even if FOX insiders tell Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello that the show’s fate is not set in stone yet contrary to what his secret sources tell him, Do Not Disturb has been removed from the schedule next week. I just checked the network’s press site and it says that ‘Til Death‘s episode “Philadelphia Freedom” will air instead of DND and that the previously scheduled episode of the new series “will be rescheduled for a later date.”

Taking into account how FOX has been treating its shows these past years, it’s more than likely that the remaining episodes of the comedy will either air on the web or will never see the light of a screen near you…

I wholeheartedly agree with you — this was THE WORST pilot I saw out of all the screeners for the new season. Yes, FOX is completely unsupportive of their shows, but in their defense, it was a totally sucky product.

I only was able to watch two pilots over the summer (received a bunch but never got around to them). I picked DND because of Jerry O’Connell and yuk. The other pilot I watched, immediately after DND, was Fringe. Imagine the difference in quality and acting!!!

I caught the “sex” pilot of this and it was one of the worst shows I’d seen in awhile. I still wonder how stuff this bad makes it onto television. Surely people can tell how bad it is.

I’d like to know how this got approved in the first place … did they forget to watch it?

I hope FOX does cancel this show because I liked it when Eddie Kaye Thomas and Kat Foster was on here, I cannot believe that they had the nerve to get rid of them.
