See Jane Clack: Rachel Zoe, Dolly Parton, and Hole in the Wall

I love clacking about stuff I see on TV, and now I get the chance to do it right here on CliqueClack. Here are a few things that made my brain clack this week:

I’ll miss Rachel Zoe! I’ve grown to love that pixie stylist-to-the-stars on her Bravo show, The Rachel Zoe Project. Hopefully, the show will be picked up for another season, and based on the season one finale, it looks like both Brad and Taylor will be back. Now if they can only play nice together.

Chelsea Handler is my favorite tell-it-like-it-is chick! The host of E!’s Chelsea Lately takes no prisoners as she gleefully opines on any and every celeb and Hollywoodism. And her little partner, Chuy, a.k.a. “my little nugget,” is the perfect Ed McMahon to her Johnny. Go, girl, and keep the vodka flowing!

Hole in the Wall is the dumbest show on TV! The.Dumbest. Have you seen it? It takes place in an arena-type setting, and the contestants have to position themselves to pass through a weirdly-shaped hole in the wall as they move along on a conveyor-like floor towards the hole. Hosts Brooke Burns and Mark Thompson do their best to sound ultra-excited. I must confess, though, there was nothing else on when it aired, so we watched the Greek Goddesses vs. the Pencil Pushers battle it out. It’s still really dumb (and a crime that people might think it’s associated with Paul Newman’s kids’ camp charity).

Ty Pennington’s heart-to-hearts are getting old! Maybe I’m just a hard-hearted chick, but I’ve grown a little numb to his chats with the tragedy-ridden families he helps week after week on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. I mean, I feel bad for these folks, I really do. Watching them makes me weep. But how many times can we hear Ty tell some poor soul, “You’ve had a rough road lately, and I know you need a peaceful place where you can escape from the world blah blah blah…” Yeah, don’t we all.

I love Dolly Parton singing on those Target commercials! Whenever I hear her cheery voice singing “More Where That Came From,” I’m instantly happy. It makes me want to go shopping! At Target! Hey, maybe I’ll see Dolly there!
