- Barack Obama has booked thirty minutes of air time on three major networks to bring his message directly to you. He’ll be simulcast on CBS, FOX and NBC. As for John McCain? He doesn’t have that kind of money!
- ABC, however, was wary to disrupt their low-rated lineup (for some reason–I guess they don’t want high ratings), so are forging ahead with a new Pushing Daisies. Tonight, Stephen Root guests as an old friend of Ned’s dad who wants his help to find the old man. Alternately, three models bathe together in Europe on The CW’s America’s Next Top Model, but I’m sure it’s not as hot as it sounds.
- FOX follows Obama then with the continuation of Monday’s World Series Game 5, suspended in the fifth tied at 2-2. The Phillies can wrap it up with a victory as they’re leading the series 3-1 right now. CBS follows it up with The New Adventures of Old Christine where Barb and Christine double-date, but only one date goes well.
- NBC sticks with their default schedule filler by giving us a 90-minute installment of Deal or No Deal after Obama’s special.
- The Discovery Channel’s Time Warp keeps on bringing you slo-mo fun, this week featuring tasers and crash-test dummies. MyNetwork TV throws up another new The Tony Rock Project.

- He’s not running this year, but MyNetwork TV is still offering Shaken Not Stirred: Al Sharpton. I’m also pretty sure Dog the Bounty Hunter isn’t running, but A&E still has him on the half hour.
- DirecTV keeps chugging along with their first-air rights on Friday Night Lights. And for real football highlights, Showtime has Inside the NFL.
- The Discovery Channel takes a look at the motorcycle flip on Mythbusters, while SciFi’s Ghost Hunters take it to the seas. The History Channel’s MonsterQuest takes them to Illinois on their next hunt. CBS’s Criminal Minds must look to the railroad tracks to track down their latest serial killer.
- Contestants on The CW’s Stylista must find a “hidden gem” in town to write about and dress up mannequins. Alternately, politics hits the hospital as Sam and Naomi vie to lead ABC’s Private Practice.
- The UK keeps exploring the unique on their little island, this time exploring Britain’s Youngest Grannies on BBC America.

- How much do you love Parking Wars on A&E? Did you know there was a “lost pilot?” Well, tune in tonight for the two-part special. The Discovery Channel’s Prototype This looks at a “Traffic Busting Truck.”
- TLC’s look at a traveling homeschool family continues with two new episodes of Six for the Road. The History Channel’s road trip to Illinois continues with UFO Hunters heading to the Land of Lincoln. Heading off our screens (for now) is MTV’s The Real World/Road Rules Challenge, wrapping its 16th season (dear god!)
- Spike TV keeps the violence alive with The Ultimate Fighter, while Bravo takes a much gentler approach with part one of the finale of Top Design. TV Land Myths & Legends tonight explores the legends of “Shatner, Sinatra & Oscar.”
- Dirty Sexy Money, on ABC, offers more duplicity and ulterior motives than a day in Congress (ZING!). Patrick wants to take his relationship with transgender Carmelita public, but Tripp is most definitely not on board as it could devestate his campaign.
- Motorcycle badness continues on FX’s Sons of Anarchy, while the boys of South Park continue their struggles to get out of Peru on Comedy Central. That one’s followed by a new David Alan Grier’s Chocolate News.
- Victory has a dream about Joe that proves more psychic than she probably expected on NBC’s Lipstick Jungle. CBS’s CSI: NY gets involved in a case with an archaeologist who may have unearthed the secret to one of New York’s oldest murders.
