8:00p/7:00 Central

  • Tonight, CBS’s Survivor: Gabon throws a new wrinkle into the game by having the tribes battle for individual immunity, and then sending both to tribal council to lose a member.
  • Clark’s secret may be revealed on The CW’s Smallville, as a picture snapped by Jimmy of him saving Lois at super speed is headed to the front page of the Daily Planet. Alternately, Kimmie (Lindsay Lohan) finally shows her true colors on ABC’s Ugly Betty. I guess that means she becomes a boozing, drug addicted whore.
  • On NBC, Randy befriends Catalina’s creepy nephew on My Name is Earl, followed by Kath overextending herself trying to plan her dream wedding, while Kim finds a reason to get back with her husband ($$$$) on Kath & Kim.
  • FOX launches a two-hour Kitchen Nightmares block with a repeat from the first season where Ramsay has a showdown in front of the staff with the executive chef. They were going to air an episode of Hole in the Wall but I think they’re done with that now.

9:00p/8:00 Central

  • BBC America’s Dragon’s Den keeps inventor’s hopes alive, while The Discovery Channel’s Destroyed in Seconds offers a place to take care of the rejects. Or for a more direct approach, have the wrestlers of Spike TV’s TNA: Impact! break the rejected inventions by hand.
  • The History Channel offers up some of the most amazing feats of ancient naval engineering on Ancient Discoveries, while the boys at TLC’s American Chopper set out to make the wildest ’57 Chevy bike ever imagined.
  • Chef Ramsay has a real challenge on his hands tonight on FOX’s Kitchen Nightmares as he tackles a restaraunt with no real culinary talent and more than a million dollars in debt.
  • I’m not sure how having some operate on an inoperable tumor is a challenge to make them better. Isn’t inoperable inoperable? Well, ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy is putting Bailey to that task tonight.
  • The investigation of the latest victim on CBS’s CSI: Crime Scene Investigation reveals that she was the daughter of a wanted criminal. Or, the angels get involved in a serious and possibly deadly way on a new Supernatural over on The CW.
  • It looks like the action is moving to corporate as Michael and Holly are summoned there (gee, I wonder why after last episode’s closing moment) on NBC’s The Office. Then stick around for the season premiere of Tina Fey’s 30 Rock, where Liz tries to convince guest star Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) she’s not too overworked to adopt, and Jack returns to NBC Studios.

10:00p/9:00 Central

  • BET’s American Gangster takes a look at “Monster Kody” tonight. On a much lighter note, Sundance offers a strange pairing in a discussion between Jon Favreau and Tony Hawk.
  • Over on TLC’s LA Ink, Kat gets the cover of Latina magazine and takes the reporter to her hometown.
  • Season finales tonight include a two-part close to Showtime’s Comics Without Borders, featuring Felipe Esparza, Sam Tripoli, Yoshi Obayashi and Kristeen von Hagen. Also wrapping it’s first season is A&E’s Jacked: Auto Theft Task Force.
  • CBS’s Eleventh Hour looks at kidnapped autistic teens turning up a month later with savant tendencies. A young boy is locked into a stairwell on Halloween with John Stamos on NBC’s ER. I know it’s not the “A” plot, but it’s certainly the most exciting! Not as exciting as Sam finding himself face-to-face with his own mother in 1973 on ABC’s Life on Mars … or maybe it’s even more exciting than that. If only Stamos was rocking the Full House mullet.
  • Lindsay Lohan is not appearing on tonight’s Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew, but if Jeff Conaway (Taxi, Babylon 5) ever leaves the show, there’ll be a slot waiting for her. Then he can get a makeover on Bravo’s Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style. I know he usually does women, but he’d make an exception for Jeff.
  • FX has finally found a good comedy show to pair up with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. First up tonight, Dee suffers a heart attack leading to Charlie and Mac seeking health insurance in the corporate world. Then, the boys test out a million dollar “smart” vacuum on Testees.
  • If you’d rather, though, you can switch at the half hour over to Comedy Central and tune in to The Sarah Silverman Program instead. Tonight, Sarah becomes a bed wetter while Brian and Steve fight over Brian’s incredibly long beard.
