I’ve been grousing all season about how annoying Charlotte’s been on Private Practice. She’s been wishy-washy with Cooper, running away, coming back, sniping about his friendship with Violet….
Well, the powers that be must have heard my complaints, because this week’s episode made me go, “Yeah! That’s what I’m talkin’ about!”
The episode started with Cooper in bed with Charlotte, while Violet knocked on his door begging him to tie her shoes because she couldn’t see her feet anymore. So he got up and helped her while Charlotte barely contained her laughter at the situation.
But later, when Charlotte and Violet were alone at the house, Charlotte brought her pickles and fizzy drinks and bananas to help her queasiness. Then the two girls started laughing over Cooper’s childhood doll named Ernesta. And from there, the episode ended with Charlotte painting Violet’s toenails, while Cooper couldn’t take the fact that his best friend and his girlfriend were “colliding” so he was “gonna go drink with the boys.”
See?! Isn’t this so much better than Charlotte being annoying and petty because Cooper wanted to help Violet through her pregnancy?
So what do you think will happen now? Nothing ever remains nice and easy on this show. Do you think Charlotte and Violet will become friends and make Cooper feel like an outsider? Will the girls act on their latent lesbian instincts and decide they belong together? OK, probably not. But do you like this storyline as much as I do?!
Oh, and about Addison and the much-married Noah … say what?! He’s in love with her? He’s never felt this way about any other woman? They barely know each other! I’m just not feelin’ it. They have zero chemistry.
Addison belongs with Pete. Remember when they kissed during her first visit to the clinic? Whatever happened to all that white-hot chemistry? Why didn’t that lead anywhere? See, then Violet would have another couple to take care of her: Addison and Pete! Who might actually be the father of her baby! Oh those bed-hopping docs.
