Admittedly, I’m not a huge Warehouse 13 fan. I do like the show, but I’m not an all-out geek about it. In fact *whisper*I’ve missed a few episodes here and there that I probably won’t ever bother with.*whisper* However, that hasn’t stopped me from doing the ultra-geeky: I’ve made my cell ringtone that of the Warehouse 13 Farnsworth device.
A little searching around and I found the ringtone, which is REALLY loud if you have your ring volume cranked to full. You can grab the ringtone in M4R format here.
Now, here’s where I could get even geekier … and I may have to do this for next year’s Comic-Con. I still have the press kit that came with the series premiere of Warehouse 13, which was encased in a plastic and cardboard replica of the Farnsworth. I don’t see why I couldn’t hack the thing up and slip my iPhone in it … with Facetime! Do you dare me?
Incidentally, I’m a freak who keeps all of the notable press kits sent to me. Mostly it’s Syfy and FOX who have the best worth keeping, though USA has been upping their game lately. I’ll need a warehouse of my own some day to house all this crap.

I’m sure a little searching would produce results, but how about a link to a non iPhone version of the ringtone for those of us with open-source phones?
I saw a converter and all that, but I’m just cranky because everything’s “i” this and “i” that and I had my run with Apple, but iTunes cured me of them.
So, how about a nice mp3?
Am I doing something wrong? I’ve tried twice to post a link to a Farnsworth ringtone in .mp3 format and neither has shown up. Knowing my luck this and the other two will all appear at once.
Talk about nerd alert! I went and found a utility that could convert the iPhone file to an .mp3 (after first renaming the extension to .aac) and the quality of both files is identical, at least through my speakers at work. No, really, I’m getting *real* work done! I swear!
Now, if I could only figure out how to get that link posted for the others who haven’t joined the hoards of iZombies! ;oP
I must correct myself. That should be “hordes” not “hoards” in the statement above. I shall now go cane myself for my poor use of my own language.

One, um, interesting thing I discovered about my phone as this was the first time I’d bothered to change the ringtone is that it sets the ringer volume all the way to high when changed! Scared the hell out of me.

I really should check the comments before I go geeking out through interwebbz, just went crazy for half an hour searching for converters. Thanks for the .mp3! I’m really gonna have fun showing off and figuring out who watches Warehouse 13;)

None of my coworkers are fans of the show or anything else remotely related to scifi, so this afternoon when my “Farnsworth” went off my boss said, “sounds like your ringer is broken.” I got a good laugh out of that and once I explained it to him he went from uninformed to just confused. Everyone in my house is jealous, but they don’t want the same ringtone.
We have to start hitting SyFy over their website. There’s only one app that is compatible with Android phones and it’s a stupid one called “Cylon Bobble”. Everything else is iPhone only, although there’s not much there to want and no ringtones at all! Now *that’s* just plain stupid. You’d think a network devoted to futuristic concepts would have more apps and some darned ringtones for multiple phone platforms. Oh well, they are called SyFy after all. I guess we can’t expect too much.
Okay, I’m all ranted out for now.
i just recently changed my ringtone to the warehouse 13 theme song. i was bummed that i couldn’t have voicemail kick in at 40 seconds to cover the whole thing.
