C’mon, you know what it is too. Think back to the bar scene, when Damon asks Jules for the cure for a werewolf bite. She pauses, then replies, “Bite me.” Yep, that’s it. I’m laying it out right here, right now: If a vampire bites the werewolf that bit him, he’s cured. When this cure for a werewolf bite is revealed in a future episode, you can say you heard it here first.
By the way, I hate that Jules. She’s probably got some baggage about a flock of vampires killing her whole family, yada yada yada, and that’s why she hates them so much. Get over it — that doesn’t mean you have to be evil and take advantage of that poor newbie Tyler. I don’t want to spoil it, but the previews for next week are making me very, very cranky.
Along those lines, why, oh, why, would Caroline tell Tyler that a werewolf bite is fatal to a vampire? Is she just too trusting, or is she that dimwitted? Yeah, don’t answer that. She loves Matt, though. Cute. Tyler was unstable before he had his furry alter ego to contend with; now, those vamps are going to be in trouble.
I’m not going to say a ton about the Rose storyline, because at first I thought it was going a bit too far. I just didn’t think she deserved all that screen time, to be honest. Her character’s value just didn’t warrant it. But it wasn’t about her, it was about Damon’s lust for his humanity, his existential crisis which you knew was going to end badly for poor Jessica. Elena didn’t realize she was making everything worse by giving him that tender hug (“I can’t be what she wants me to be” — heartbreaking).
I leave you with a question: Why is Uncle Jon back, and what could he possibly have to offer at this juncture? Do you think he’s been with Isobel all this time?

Dude, we share a brain!!!! Scary, the first thing I said to my bestie when were watching the show, was “I bet Rose didn’t need to die” that’s the catch. Cue the memory of Jules line “Bite me”, to which we both said “I bet he needs to bite a wolf!” it’s just too coincidental. Now if he bites Tyler, he doesn’t automatically die though? Whatever it is, the damn dog just can’t kill Damon. Too horrendous, maybe Stefan will figure out the cure. I can’t wait to find out!

Let just hope he remembers what Jules told him before its to late. If Damon dies The show will not have any interest to me. Does this mean the werewolf dies tho? I would really like for Tyler to stick around. He brings out the best side of Caroline. I am really beginning to adore her.
Cure will be an originals blood, either Elijah’s or even better Klause’s blood.. Elijah did say nothing kills an original other than the ash from the tree on white/silver dagger..
If that theory doesnt work, then Klaus’s blood, which has got werewolf and vampire dna could potentially save Damon and perhaps even turn him into a hybrid for season 3. This way the good guys and bad guys have equal ground or else Klaus as a hybrid becomes too powerful a bad guy..
Thank you for sharing! Maybe… But maybe Taylor or Damon have to die.. Only one of them can live. Maybe Damon have to kill taylor?? Nvm… I think its Klaus or Elijah who findes out, or some old witch book or something. I don’t know.
Maybe it’s stupid, but I think that if Damon endures the infection and the hallucinations and whatnot, the bite will kill the vampire side of him, leaving him human. After all, a werewolf bite is lethal for a vampire. Just saying.
So, it would be nice if your theory was exactly true.. so far it appears as only Klaus’s hybrid blood will cure a werewolf bite on a vampire. One reasons to keep him alive.. if he doesn’t take over and reck the whole plannet, now that no one is strong enough to kill him… unless his father is alive? Just saying.
I think its going to take all the witches of salem and mystic falls, dead and alive, to kill him and remove the spell of the werewolf bite.
I forgot to meantion, why does the werewolf bite kill a vampire? There must be a supernatural, bewitched explanation. Perhaps a witch can break that!
