Really, another Hank overdose? And this time alongside a woman so that Karen thinks he was stepping out on her? How many old stories needed to be recycled to put this finale together?
Each week I review a show that’s new to me. Good idea, or punishment (mine or yours)? You be the judge. But either way, if I had to watch it, the least you can do is read what I have to say….
There wasn’t a lot of character stuff on last night’s episode, but I did enjoy Tony’s overreaction to the note in his performance evaluation about how he’s too “yabba yabba.” Gibbs’ line about how he depends on that was great.
I’m all for Hank coming out ahead on the show, but I haven’t been able to understand why Karen would keep throwing herself at Hank this season. I understand their connection, but nothing that Batesy put her through negates everything that Hanks done.
Here’s a question: if Peter’s running a clean office (which I’ve never believed), what was Eli doing in a meeting to determine whether or not the State’s Attorney’s office would be pressing charges in a minor (or any) case? Is Peter really naive enough to violate the rules so blatantly?
I don’t begrudge Gibbs a love story and some happiness, but Samantha Ryan (Jamie Lee Curtis) is a terrible choice to fill that void. We’ve seen the last of her, right (please)?
