‘The Pillars of the Earth’ finished up this week, but if you’re like me and have been watching through Netflix, you haven’t yet seen the final hour. It’s frustrating, but we can still talk about the penultimate episode.

This week’s ‘Mad Men’ reminded me that so much of the show lies in what the characters aren’t saying. Also, someone used the word “swellegant.” You have to love that.
