‘Nikita’ wrapped up its first season of spy mysteries tonight, and while “Pandora” was entertaining to watch, the finale presented another question to me: where is this show going? I look at what clues – and concerns – for season two are left in this jam-packed last installment.
Good television holds your interest through the hour. Great television sticks with you beyond it. Last night’s ‘The Chicago Code,’ which dealt well with a sensitive subject and brought brilliant closure to a subplot, broke my heart and I loved almost every second of it.
Chuck and Sarah have come a long way in four seasons. As we reach the season (series?) finale, they’ve come to remind me of a TV supercouple (literally!) of days gone by.
I’ve been a Xander Berkeley fan since ’24,’ and I like him even more thanks to ‘Nikita,’ where his Percy is so deliciously evil that I hate him and love him simultaneously. Why don’t more people know who this guy is?!
The second-season finale of ‘Justified’ packed more issues than an episode of ‘Dr. Phil,’ more arguing than ‘Jerry Springer’ and a revelation you might hear on ‘Maury.’ Could this be the best family drama on TV?
Among the many things I love about ‘The Chicago Code,’ one of the major ones is that I never feel like I’m watching “TV police.” This week’s episode spotlighted the price Liam and Jarek have paid for their successes.
If I’d seen “Day of the Moon” later this evening, I might very well be sleeping with a light on. Steven Moffat teams with a first-rate cast to once again scare the bejesus out of the audience.
