Ratings Clack – Everybody loves Sarah Palin…

On cable, ‘Sarah Palin’s Alaska’ debuted to solid numbers for TLC, while TBS and TLC were not so lucky with ‘Glory Daze’ and ‘Pawn Queens’. Over on the networks, the big story was again the singing kids of ‘Glee’.

The Middle – The car wash bit still isn’t funny

The joke on ‘The Middle’ has always been that “cooking dinner” means picking up takeout. Even so I would never have guessed that the Heck’s oven might as well not be functional.

Ratings Clack – Everybody loves zombies, and Penny

The big story in ratings last week came from the huge numbers AMC enjoyed for the premiere of ‘The Walking Dead’. Over on the broadcast networks, the return of Penny to ‘Big Bang Theory’ had that show riding high as well.

The Middle – The coolest birth day story ever?

I’m sure anything can happen, but I have to side with (and against) Mike on this one — as a parent, I couldn’t imagine NOT being able to recognize my baby, even as an infant. I think mothers AND fathers would agree.

Ratings Clack – Castle moves ahead of Five-0

It was another pretty standard week where the numbers were concerned. Most shows have started to stabilize by this point, but there are still some interesting bits to be had. The race between ‘Castle’ and ‘Hawaii Five-0′ is one of those.
