Is the current television season halfway through, or does it still have halfway to go? That’s my attempt at applying the glass half full/half empty concept to a television season. But with most shows on hiatus, I figured this was a good time to look back at the half-season that was.

It’s a dark day for fans of ‘Community’ as the new NBC mid-season schedule has the show being bumped into the neverland of ‘returning at some point’. On cable, AMC has found a partner for ‘The Walking Dead’ in ‘Hell On Wheels’.
Several of our resident Seattle Gracers had a terrible night. In fact, there wasn’t one shred of happiness or light in the entire, dour episode.
‘Once Upon A Time’ could be shaping up as ABC’s next hit show after a very good week two outing. On cable, USA returned with new episodes of ‘Burn Notice’ and ‘Covert Affairs’, but that was much less of a fairy tale.
With an O’Malley in the house and a heart pumping inside a plastic box, several ‘Grey’s’ characters were suddenly motivated to make decisions, confessions.
ABC and NBC both had good premieres for their fairy tale dramas last week. ‘Once Upon A Time’ and ‘Grimm’ were both well received by audiences. On cable, ‘Beavis & Butt-Head’ returned to MTV, but the big story again came from ‘Walking Dead’.
