What could possibly go wrong with Lynda’s dream of hosting a charming bed & breakfast at ‘Bob’s Burgers’? Well … everything. All for our benefit, I might add.
In the annals of prime time cartoon animation, this episode of ‘Bob’s Burgers’ was downright freaky. It was a disorderly and muddled affair … but there were moments.
Even when ‘Bob’s Burgers’ isn’t on top of its game, it offers nuggets you find in few comedies. And sub-standard episode notwithstanding, that’s what’s going to keep bringing me back.
Granted, this airing of our dysfunctional restaurant family wasn’t the best, but read this post and I’ll bet you dollars-to-donuts you’ll see the humor and feel that much better about watching the show.
Yes, meat just might be murder, but it’s showcased hilariously through Bob Belcher’s family of wisenheimers. Trans-gendered animals, word play and cow dung texts make for a half hour of Sunday evening frivolity.
‘Bob’s Burgers’ second effort gets better and more outrageous than the first. I’m intrigued by the blond man on the roller skates in nothing but his underwear.
