Another week of ups and downs brings good news for some (’30 Rock Live’, ‘Defenders’, ‘Smallville’), and bad news for others (‘The Event’, ‘Running Wilde’). Plus, how did a Monday ‘iCarly’ stack up against the entire NBC schedule?
Telford may be in a bit of a strange and possibly dire situation at the moment, but he should keep his chin up. It’s unlikely that it’s the last we’ll see of the Colonel.
‘Caprica’ returned last week, and the results leave us questioning how long the show can remain a part of the new Syfy. Over on the networks, there are still a few new shows (‘The Event’, ‘The Defenders’, ‘Detroit 187′) looking to find their levels.
For you non-techie types, you must be wondering what the hell a “BOFH” is. It stands for “Bastard Operator From Hell,” meaning the jerk sysadmin type in an organization who does whatever the hell he wants and takes his anger out on the underlings and users. I’d say that sums up Rush, doesn’t it?
A little of everything this week. New – ‘Stargate Universe’, ‘Bones’, ‘Caprica’, ‘Monk’, ‘Medium’, and ‘Blue Mountain State’. Classic – ‘Mary Tyler Moore’, ‘All In The Family’, and ‘Gunsmoke’. And young – ‘Ben 10′, ‘The Penguins’, and ‘Phineas and Ferb’.
It’s only week two and already the cancellation act has been swung. Twice. In happier news, ‘Glee’ managed to ride the popularity of Britney, or Brittany, to even better numbers than the premiere. Also, good grief, a lot of people watch ‘Jersey Shore’.
Alright, I don’t want to get into a big ethical discussion over this, but I can’t be the only one glad that Destiny won’t be sporting a “Baby On Board” sign anytime soon.
